Borneo ~ Entry #1
We started out our Borneo adventure in Kota Kinabalu (KK). Just a couple pictures worth showing. This one is of a big market that we frequented during our stay for some snacks, and some meals as well. If you like sea food, this is a good place to get some fish...We like our mosques as well... this is one of the nicer ones we've seen in Malaysia.Mt. Kinabalu. The tallest peak in Malaysia at 4100m. We were hoping to climb but it didn't happen because we're not very good at planning ahead. All the permits were gone/booked for the next month. Tromping around the national park for the day had to do.During our 'tromping'...
A canopy walk on suspension bridges in the trees. Jillene tells me it was 110ft in the air. I never read the info...Jillene made friends with Jackie, an Orang-Utan (whom apparently has a strong grip). Jackie spends her day in the jungle and returns at night for some grub to the Poring Hot Springs area. This night her dinner was a broom head... or so she thought (she more or less ignored her rice).

Before anyone says anything... I know we need more pictures of Jillene on here. It is just that she was the photographer when we were in the Kinabatangan and I was the crazy guy who played with all the 'jungle toys'. We'll see what we can do about future entries though...
Yes, Glad you noticed! We need to see Jillene too. Not that we don't enjoy seeing you. And the pictures of the diving are wonderful. May just be enough to convince us to try it!!
