Kayaking in Nepal

We hadn't originally planned this, but we had some extra time. Not enough to complete the Sanctuary trek, but too much to spend on the streets of Pokhara or Kathmandu. So we signed up for white water Kayaking and white water rafting. Unfortunately, we only have the pictures of the Kayaking, but that is fine as it was certainly the highlight. In total we did 6 days. 4 days kayaking, and 2 days white water rafting. It couldn't have been done any better as we slowly made our way down 2 of Nepal's white water rivers camping along the way on the beach. Now that we've done it, it is a must for anyone whom goes to Nepal. Looks like were going to have to buy a couple kayaks when we get home because we're hooked. This has to be one the funnest sports we've ever learned....

Jilene was most definitely screaming when this photo was taken...
I must have liked what I saw coming ahead. Clearly I'm excited...

It took some time, and definitely a lot of determination; but I finally mastered the eskimo roll (which was important as I seemed capsize more than anyone). It is one thing to roll back upright when your practicing and meant to do it, and completely another when you go over accidentally in white water. However by the end I had saved myself in the white water nearly a dozen times, above is a picture when I'm just coming back up after bailing.
Jillene about to go through a gooder...
