Pushkar

Pushkar was a quiet little town back in Rajistan with little to offer than the opportunity to relax from all the site seeing we'd being doing thus far. March was a busy month for us, but we had some restful days here... We had a lone room on the roof of the hotel, and thus a huge patio all to ourselves... I'm just enjoying the good view.

A view of Pushkars mosque from our rooftop...
The ghats of Pushkar in full swing... all people and cows are welcome!

Some sort of religious ceremony that we never made sense of... an old man had told us 30mins previous that 'god was coming and an elephant and crocodile were going to fight'. We thought that would be something worth hanging out for, but in the end were let down when this was all we got! :)

Snake charmers along the street...
They really wanted us to come and touch the cobra (which I can only hope was high on opium), and I told them to go stuff it. Jillene oddly enough took them up on the offer and they kindly plopped their hat on her head! Not a good idea as it nearly fell off and landed on the snake...
