Christmas

Christmas 2012 in Costa Rica... Was a great (but different day).  I think it must have been my 3rd x-mas outside Canada, and Jillene's 2nd.  This was however Declan's first  We went for a Christmas morning swim first thing at Mariposa, and then for Brunch and to open some presents and the Moucks.

 But that nice X-mas dinner was big celebration.  We had a tons of friends down in Junquillal for this X-mas.  I'm sure more than we'll ever manage to organize again.  Nothing like a good feast, and a few rums/beers in board shorts (t-shirts optional) to celebrate Christmas night. Was a very fun affair everyone contributed to, but the mastermind behind everything (the party planner) Shannon Mouck is the one whom really made it happen.  Here are a few pics from the evening.

Was a fun night.... so fun that we really didn't take many pictures!  It was a great way to spend x-mas.  Little time wasted opening gifts (and thus even less time spent shopping/buying them).  We did a 'Chinese gift exchange' that was definitely a hit, and enjoyed by all. Good times...

And 4 days later it was Declan's birthday, and Grandma and Grandpa arrived.  We had to go pic them up from the airport, so it was a low key affair.  No time for a party. We had to give him a belated birthday party on the 30th.  But no big deal... I don't think he even noticed!  :)
